In one breath: your photos and contacts are examined on your phone and are never uploaded. Only subscription status and crash reports travel anywhere.

PHOTOSPhoto library

Cleer reads your library to find duplicates, blurry shots, screenshots, screen recordings, Live Photos and large files. The analysis, including the comparison of near-identical pictures, runs on the device. Images and videos are never sent to us or anyone else. With iOS "Limited Access" Cleer sees only the photos you picked.

CONTACTSContacts

Only if you open Contacts cleanup and allow access. Names, numbers and emails are compared on the phone to spot duplicates and empty cards. Before a merge or delete, a copy of the affected cards (vCard) is saved inside Cleer on your device so you can undo it. Contacts are not uploaded and not used for analytics or ads.

STORAGEDevice space

Cleer reads how much free and total space the device has, to show how much a cleanup frees. Scan results, scan settings and onboarding state are kept in the app's own storage.

NOWhat we never touch

Camera, microphone, location. No advertising SDKs. No sale of data. No tracking across other companies' apps and sites.

What goes to services we use

Adapty (Adapty Tech Inc.): confirms whether Cleer Pro is active and shows the right purchase screen. It receives a random profile ID, device type, OS and app version, language, country-level region, App Store purchase status and history (product, dates, trial or renewal state), and counts of anonymous in-app events such as onboarding answers or which category was opened.
Firebase Crashlytics (Google): crash reports with a stack trace, device model, OS version and a random installation ID, used to fix bugs. They contain no photos, contacts or personal details.
Apple: sells and processes Cleer Pro (weekly, yearly, lifetime). We learn only the purchase status needed to unlock features, not your name, email or payment details.

How long data lives

Scan data and settings stay on the device until you use Settings › Clear Scan Data (it never deletes your photos) or remove the app. Adapty keeps purchase status and events as long as needed to run the service; ask us to delete them at any time.

Your choices

Revoke photo or contacts access in iOS Settings › Cleer (or Android app permissions).
Nothing is deleted or merged without your confirmation; deleted photos stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days.
In the EEA, UK, California and similar regions you may ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold: netkaktakto@gmail.com.

Children and changes

Cleer is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. A changed policy appears here with a new date.
