Terms of use

1. License

Cleer is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you.

2. What is free and what is Pro

Scanning, browsing every category and comparing photos side by side are free. Cleer Pro unlocks deleting and merging (photos, videos, contacts), including Select All & Delete, and Pro tools added later.

3. Plans and billing

• Weekly and yearly are auto-renewing subscriptions. Weekly can start with a 3-day free trial for eligible users.
• Lifetime is a single one-time purchase with nothing to renew.
• Apple charges your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions renew until you switch renewal off in Settings › your name › Subscriptions at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• If you buy a plan during a trial, the unused trial days are forfeited. Refunds are decided by Apple.

4. You decide what is deleted

Cleer suggests duplicates, blurry shots and large files, but you choose and confirm what to remove or merge. Suggestions can be wrong, so review before you confirm. Items you delete move to Recently Deleted for 30 days; once that period ends, or if you empty the folder, they cannot be recovered by us. Keep a backup of anything precious. A contact merge can be undone right after it is done using the copy Cleer keeps.

5. Acceptable use

Use Cleer only on libraries and contacts you have the right to manage. Do not copy, decompile or resell the app.

6. No warranty, limited liability

The app is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost or deleted data or indirect losses from use of the app, and our total liability is limited to what you paid in the previous twelve months. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
