About Cleen
Cleen helps you free up storage by finding duplicates, blurry photos, screenshots, and large videos in your library. All scanning runs on your device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers. Photos and videos are deleted only when you confirm.
Frequently asked questions
Why does Cleen need photo access?
Cleen reads your photo library to scan and organize items for cleanup. Without permission, scanning cannot run. You can revoke access anytime in system Settings.
Does Cleen upload my photos?
No. Analysis happens locally on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete photos?
Open a category, select items, and confirm deletion. Deleted items go to your system’s Recently Deleted album (iOS) or equivalent on Android before permanent removal.
Limited photo access (iOS)
If you chose “Limited Access”, Cleen only sees photos you selected. Tap “Manage Access” in the app to add more photos to the selection.
Clear scan data
Settings → Clear Scan Data removes saved scan results from Cleen. It does not delete any photos or videos from your library.
